Laptop Screen Flickering (Only part of the screen, and not all the time)

Usually i'll leave my laptop on for a few minutes, and i'll come back and the middle of the screen is flickering. The sides are fine, and my second monitor is as well. I am running windows 7. I have installed the intel windows 7 video drivers for my card and they work fine except for this. Any help would be appreciated!

Well did you have this problem before you installed win 7, and when did it start and how (if you think you know or have an idea)

also to help you the best that i can i would need to know the specs of the Laptop and what model number is it from what company ?

I never had this problem on the windows 7 beta, or vista. It only happens after at least 20-25 minutes of it being on. It is a dell inspiron 1525. I'm running 7 home premium 32 bit.

what do mean by "my second monitor"?
your laptop has 2 monitors?
how about the temps?

by second monitor i mean an external plugged into the port for an external monitor. It doesn't flicker like the laptop's internal screen. And the temps are fine, i just recently cleaned out the fan, and always have a cooling pad running.

then it probably the screen monitor itself or the cables that connect from monitor to the motherboard, it maybe loose and not attached properly....

is that something you think could be undertaken as a weekend project, or should it be taken to an expert?

i would say u better bring it to the expert, it's kind a hard and difficult when it comes to a laptop...
