I am trying to connect my Samsung S2 Portable 3.0 External Hard Drive to my Sony Bravia TV in order to watch movies, tv shows etc that have been loaded onto the Samsung Hard Drive.

I am not good with Electronic Devices and this was a present from my Daughter and she has pre-loaded the Samsung Device presuming that I could use it on my TV.

Help please.

The TV is not a playback device and neither is the HDD. Here are some solutions http://answers.yahoo.com/question/ [...] 520AAeHGw8
But basically a playback device is needed in between the two.
