How Do i know is my motherboard is Dead?

Hi guys, i need help..

i have a motherboard (GA K8NF9U) is and my processor is AMD ATHLON 64..
The machine just suddenly just stooped working.. i placed a new 1 PSU with 500w and change A new 512mb Video card and add 1GB ram.. but nothing have changed No picture..

Im wondering why my computer is automatically switching on when i plug the cable without pressing the power button.. the fan of processor is working, Led are working HD is working as well.. i aslo done about the cmos.. but same result no grapics from the monitor..

Guys please i need your help.. i dont know what to do anymore.. im wasting a lot of money without any improvement on my desktop..

Build outside the case with motherboard, CPU, power and beeper on a piece of cardboard. Keep adding components until you do not get beeps.
May be a dead motherboard.

You may have a bad power switch. Try disconnecting the power switch wires and turning on the computer by touching the two pins on the motherboard with a screwdriver momentarily.
