So I have 2 WD Caviar Green disks available to me. One older disk (wd5000aads ) has a buffer of 32Mb, the
other (wd5000csrtl2) has only 16Mb buffer... I think.? I bought the second one brand-new yesterday at a very cheap price ($40) with the intention of using it as the main drive and the other older drive would then be used as a partition backup device. However just now when checking the specs it would appear that the older drive is slightly better (perhaps that's why I only paid $40 for the new one!)

I have checked
http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/SpecSheet/ENG/287...
and here
http://www.wdc.com/en/products/legacy/legacy.asp?r=8

But no info for wd5000csrtl2

Any pointers to an official info sheet for the new drive would be appreciated. ! thx
