Hey guys if you wouldnt mind just taking a look at my probable specs for my system and seeing if the power supply is enough that would be great. This system would be used for everyday application as well as some gaming, as i'm not really a Hardcore gamer as long as the system can run a majority of games smoothly on a high graphics level i would be satisfied. Any feedback regarding the psu, or any other components would be greatly appreciated.

Processor: Intel Core i5 750 2.66Ghz
Graphics card: Sapphire HD5770 1GB
PSU: arctic power 500w

not sure if you guys need to know RAM, motherboard etc. if so ill add them. thanks again.

can you post the actual model name/number of the psu? A high quality 500w PSU from corsair or antec could probably run that system assuming you don't have too many extra peripherals. I'm not sure about the quality of Arctic Power.

I can assure you that the PSU will run just fine with your configuration even with a normal(not Xtream) overclock.

Let this "do the math" for you. Don't forget USB /firewire externals, cap aging, fans and the other drop downs.

I can't find any reviews on it from established PSU review sites.
