hey guys my little bro has a problem, he`s runnin a q6600 on the XFX790i board with 2x560 in sli and 4x2gb ddr3 vengeance. tryin to reach either 3ghz or 3.2ghz but its always gettin bsod. runs fine at 2.8 will all c1e etc disabled usuall stuff all in order. prob we have is when we get it to 3 it passes prime 95 for 8 hours then crashes, tried a few guides on voltages and diff settings also updated bios. am i correct in thinking the ram timings might be the problem 9-9-9-24, aybee loosen them a touch and up the north bridge, i will get him to join the post to let you know what exact voltages he is using as i live a little bit away from him, if any u great bunch of minds can help it would be appreciated.

he`s on h60 clc aswell so temps are exellent just cant get it stable

Cheers Again Davie

Lower the CPU multiplier, increase the FSB.
Instead of 9x333 try 8x375. Use correct memory divider to run it within specs.

Edit:
Increase gtlvref on all lanes a little, try +30mV.

its not the BSOD its just freezing after a few hours of running but not the bsod. it passed stress testing no problem then just crashes randomly when no programs are running. its just crashed at 2.8 also so i have no idea what to do I set it to defaults until something gets figured out
