Some windows files are not working for example if I btry
to install any windows component i get an error message
Windows installer could not be accessed. This can occur
if you are running safe mode , or the windows installer
is not correctly installed. contact your support
personnel for assistance.

Now I aqm not running safe mode. and I cannot reinstall
winsows installer as i'm running Win xp sps and my cd is
win xp with sp1.

help HELP !!!!!

Get out your Windows CD and keep it handy. Do this: Start/Run/type "sfc
/scannow" [less the quote markers AND be sure that a space precedes the
slash (/)]. This will run the System File Check Tool which checks for the
prescence of required uncorrupted Windows Operating System Files and will
replace/repair any found missing/corrupted using your CD.
