Partitioning

Hey all, long time reader first time poster. I have parted out and ordered a new system build, not the 6000$ machine I wish I could afford but good non-the-less. I did splurge a bit in hdd however. I purchased a Corsair Force Series GT 120 gb to function as a boot/game drive for things I run often enough to want the boost. My question is as such: would I be better off just putting the OS and applications on the whole drive or making an OS partition.

Going with that if I were to partition said ssd what size should I devote to the OS one friend told me 40gbs the other said 80. Almost forgot, I'll be running Windows 7 premium. Thanks in advance!

I would not bother partitioning, just make sure that you setup all user files to go to storage drive http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/18629-user-folders-change-default-location.html
