case: 690 II Advanced is now available (at least in US)
mobo: <nod>
cpu: <nod>
cooler: CM 212 (same price, better performance)
Ram: <nod>
gpu: <nod>
hdd: Samsung Spinpoint 1TB f3 (same price, more capacity, better performance)
psu: <nod>
OS: Win 7 Professional (XP Mode)

And, yes you should build it yourself. Easy yes, just take your time, especially when installing CPU and cooler. Otherwise it's a breeze. From the looks of it you could probably still fit a 30gb Intel x25-v in there and stay under budget. I'd do it.
