So I just finished assembling a new build and pressed the power on button and nothing happened. Nothing. No lights, no noises, no fans spinning.
So I unplugged everything leaving just the CPU, CPU cooler, power to the board and CPU, GPU and RAM attached. Pressed the power button and it worked.
Next thing I tried was connecting the cable that goes from the PSU to the fans and then the motherboard without the fans attached and once again nothing. HAd to unplug this cable and un plug and then plug back in the 24 pin ATX to get it to turn on again.
CPU - AMD Athlon II 425 X3
Motherboard - MSI 770-C45A
RAM - Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit 9-9-9-24
CPU cooler - Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2
Video Card - HIS Radeon HD 4670 IceQ Edition 1GB
Power Supply - 400W Corsair CX400W
Hard drive - Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache
Case - Antec 300
I've tried all the usual steps such as checking everything is plugged in ok, fuses, things are turned on etc so any help would be appreciated.
