Gigabyte ez smart response help

I have a 3tb hdd, and my windows 7 partition is only 2tb. However EZ Smart response still won't let me use it saying my disk is larger than 2.2tb. Do I have to get a smaller disk?

I don't have an answer, but I'm also in the same boat. I don't want to use the pre-install driver (reinstall windows). Supposed to install the driver, then use EZ smart response.

I'm fine with reinstalling windows if I have to, but that would be not to.
