System start-drivers

my only starts jn safe mode.I went to event viewer and found the followinf..boot-start or system-start drivers failed to load:Aavmker4,Amdk7,aswsp,Fips.How do we fix?

I would do a Repair on your OS. Boot from your OS disk and select the repair option. It sounds like you have a corrupted boot fine in your OS, which this should correct.

The problem is we don't have OS disk.So now what

Can you get to the system restore function in Safe Mode? If you can, try reverting the system back to the last known good day.

Do you have a restore disk of any type or someone else OS disk you could use to do the repair??

our computer has sp3 and the disc we borrowed is sp1.The disc are not compatible.We already tried reverting back,but the system restore doesn't work for some reason.

Your next option might be removing the hard drive, copy all the important data off on to anothe PC and do a fresh install with the XP SP1 disk. It is a fix to your problem but a time consuming on (lots of updates ) Or you can use this as an opportunity to move to Windows 7 and say heck with XP.

System Restore probably doesn't work in safe mode due to rights it has. Have you Googled your error message for addition ideas outside of my suggestions? Someone may have a different work around besides an OS repair or fresh install.

We took it to the repair shop.I'll let u know what the problem was,thanks for your help.
