Computer restarting randomly

I have upgraded my old computer by purchasing a new motherboard, PSU, and graphics card. I even upgraded to Windows 7.

But for the smallest thing i do, the screen goes to a solid color screen (Black and brown so far) or a blue screen with white stripes for 5 seconds then my computer restarts it self.

This began to happen today. I've had this build for 3 days now. The first 2 days was working fine. Could this be hardware failure? I have tried to reinstall drives.

My Specs are:
Motherboard: ASUS M4A77D
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ (2.9 GHz)
Graphics Card: Radeon HD 5770 (XFX)
RAM: 3 Gigs (2x 1gigs, 2x 512mb)
Hard drive: 320 Gigs
PSU: Antec Basiq 550 watts
OS: Windows 7

More about computer restarting randomly
  1. Its probably your RAM since you have two completely different sets in your motherboard
  2. It the same ram that was in my old system. It didn't restart it. And it worked fine yesterday and the day before.
  3. Try updating your BIOS, removing the 512MB RAM, or both.
  4. Thanks that worked. Well so far theres no problems
  5. The problem is back. Been about a week since it was stabled. Seems to stable itself out when not using Aero themes.

Crashes alot when using Opera. Just scrolling will cause flashing screen and then it goes to a full coloured screen usually black or blue with bright blue stripes.

Crashed a few times when closing a window.
