How to access internet throw PC without any connections.

Maybe there's something I'm missing -- but if the computer has no connections, not even a wireless connection, how does it connect to the internet ? Maybe the answer is you get a connection -- speak to a local internet provider or your phone company and I expect they'll be glad to sell you a service.
