I was hoping someone could help me decide on a suitable CPU fan for my new (and first) build. I've quickly realized the stock fan on my FX-8120 won't cut it. I'd like something that can handle slight to moderate over clocking and also leave room for my high-profile RAM. Here's my setup:
Antec 300 Illusion case
Asus M5A97 mobo
Amd FX 8120 CPU
G.skill ripjaws X 1600 4GBx2
Sapphire Vapor X 7770 GPU
Corsair G600 PSU
My main concern is fitment around the ram. I was looking at the Zalman 9900MAX because it might fit, but I read they are somewhat outdated. If anyone has had experience on a similar setup I'd really appreciate your feedback/advice. Thanks!
