My Sony Vaio VGN-T2XP/S is blocked

I installed windows XP update on my Vaio and restarted as requested on the screen. Since then I have a black screen and no way to start it. I tried recovery Disk, F8, nothing happens. What can I do?

Is it a tower? replace power supply.
