APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: asap

BUDGET RANGE: $700

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Office work, surfing internet, dual monitors

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: monitor(s)

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Newegg

PARTS PREFERENCES: Needs to include Win7 pro

OVERCLOCKING: No

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Just a fast multitasking office computer that can run dual monitors (pref dual dvi or dvi/hdmi). It just needs to be built to last awhile. Like stated above, the OS needs to be included and should be win7 pro.

Any thoughts? I haven't researched cpus in quite awhile...which would I be aiming for with this build? AMD, intel i5?

Case: It's a great case, but doesn't look very business like. I would downgrade to the Antec 300 or even the 200. You won't need the extra fans anyway.

HDD: The WD is not the best choice right now. I would get a Samsung Spinpoint F3. It comes in 500 GB ($55) or 1 TB ($85). It's faster, quieter, cooler and cheaper/GB.

RAM: You need DDR3 sticks, not DDR2. I recommend these: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 $115.

Rest is good.

Thanks for the reply. Good catch on the case, I meant to choose the basic antec 300. Thanks for the other suggestions as well, going to make those changes and order.
