Palit 1gb ddr3 geforce gt 520 overclock settings

Hello,
i need some help guys im at my wits end with this pc i just bout i dont know the specs in detail but i have a 300w psu and had one free pci-E 3.0 but its now fitted with a palit 1gb ddr3 geforce gt 520 and its intel i5 win 7 and all i want to do is play some games dont get me wrong it works but my fps is so bad im playing battlefield 3 and some time my fps is good then it just so bad like 10 fps i dont want to get another psu or a new graphics card i just need some pointers to make it run better

450w, the corsair builder series PSU's are quite good for their price
