Sabertooth z79 with D14

My old man has finally convinced me to move to Ivy Bridge (3770k, replace the TIM).
I currently have a NH-D14 on my old P6T, will I be able to just move it over, or will I need a new mounting kit?

have you bought the new 3770k? because LGA1366 chips are still awesome, i doubt you will see much gain moving to the 3770

but yes, the NH-D14 supports LGA1155

On paper it seemed like a good upgrade.
3.4ghz on the 920, 4.6ghz on the 3770k. With a 10% increase in efficiency per mhz.

More importantly, it will be fun to play with something new.

you only got 3.4 on the 920? you should be able to get 4GHz with the NH-D14

I hit 3.7 at one point but clocked it back during the summer.
The new house doesnt have AC yet (Installing it after I put on the new bedroom/bathroom).

I should also be able to hit 5ghz with the 3770k, but I wont. Despite people having it completely stable after replacing the TIM and lapping all conductive sides, it would worry me. Possibly an irrational fear.
