Over the holiday I was able to finally get around to purchasing my computer components for what I like to think will be a decent sub $400 gaming rig. At the moment the only game I play is world of warcraft, and I need something that will get me decent fps in 25man raids, with some expandability for later on. The parts I bought are Athlon II X2 245 (2.9 GHz), Asus M4A78 Mobo, 2gb mushkin pc2-8500 ram, and a ATI HD4670 1gig ddr3. Do you guys think Ill be able to accomplish lag free raiding on this machine? Any chance of a bottleneck anywhere? Since Ill also be purchasing a monitor in the near future, what resolution should I expect this card to perform well at? is 1920 x 1080 doable with this setup? thanks for your help :)

You are still gonna see FPS drops in Dalaran and 25 man raids at High Settings @ 1920x1080 with that setup. My system runs WoW at 1920x1080 Medium/High settings with 40-50 fps in Dalaran and Raids w/ v-sync enabled. Otherwise, I cap out at 60 fps.

For some reason my signature isn't showing up (for me at least). So i'll post my rig for you to compare:

AMD 955 Black Edition CPU @ 3.7ghz
ATI 4890 Vid Card 900mhz Core / 1000mhz Memory
8gb Corsair RAM 1333mhz
Intel X-25M 80gb SSD (boot drive)
640gb 7200rpm HDD
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
