Heatshrink and Fan for CPU question Tags: CPUs Fan Last response: March 24, 2010 3:07 AM in CPUs Share Maksym March 24, 2010 2:48:56 AM Hi, I am a newbie to hardware. I have Pentium 4 3.4GHz CPU and I found a good deal (from Craiglist) for E6420, but the person sells CPU only. Will my heatshrink and fan be ok for this new CPU and, if not, what can I do? Thank you in advance, Best wishes, More about : heatshrink fan cpu question ct1615 a c 105 à CPUs March 24, 2010 2:57:10 AM your current HSF should be ok, download a temp monitor software like HWmonitor and keep an eye on CPU temps. Newegg or Tigerdirect sell plenty of coolers for various CPU sockets and many are $20 or less Maksym March 24, 2010 2:58:27 AM Thank you very much ct1615!
