Just a few days ago my EVGA 8800gt broke. I am looking for a replacement and saw this 9800gt by BFG which requires little power. I read a few reviews and people say it runs much cooler than the other 9800's or 8800's. I'm just wondering how the performance will compare to my old 8800gt by EVGA. Both the old and new card are 512mb DDR3

-Thanks

they perform basically the same, u can't overclock it much because of it's low power consumption and doesn't need a power connector... :)
anyone?

Also does anyone know if this card is 9" long like the other 8800's and 9800 gt's?

if your case can handle 8800gt's size then u should be fine with 9800gt's size... :)

No they don't perform the same the low power has lower clocks and that is how they are able to make these cards run with out a 6pin plus they tend to have quite a few problems compared to others. Basically it is a G92B that has been downclocked to keep the power consumption below 75w under max load.
