I have been looking for a pretty nice heatsink before I buy my new computer but I cant decide on what to get. I dont want to use the stock heatsink because I will be gaming on this computer mostly and I feel like a stock would get to hot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I plan on getting the i5-3570K

Games I plan to play also would be GW2 "future games" Far Cry 3, Crysis 3 an so on.

I do plan on going Liquid cooling in the future but as of now I just want an aftermarket heatsink that is under $50

More about : heatsink buy

Do you plan on overclocking? I hope so! That cpu will do great with a nice overclock and a cooler like the Hyper 212 Evo. If you don't plan on overclocking, then the stock cooler will do.

I do plan on OC-ing in the future but right now I just want something to keep it cool when I game.

Here's what I recommend -

Cooler Master 212 Evo

Arctic Silver 5

You can get a good overclock with this cooler, i'd say 4.0 - 4.2 depending on your particular CPU. After installing the cooler master in my PC, my idle temps went down about 20C, load temps about 15C (before overclocking). Good luck!

Very nice, I'm sure you'll be more than happy with your temps.
