Sound drivers for windows xp

Hello, when playing music from media player the volume goes lower after about 4 or 5 songs my computer is a dell it's about 7 years old now i have been told it might be the sound card or possibly the driver outdated.

Go to the Dell website and see if there are newer sound drivers.
