What should I upgrade to max out my i5-2500k

I want to be able to overclock my i5-2500k to around 5 ghz with stability. Im wondering what kind of components I would need to do that? Also wondering how much my power supply would effect the overclocking process on my cpu.

What is the very best thermal paste (And I seriously mean the best), best cpu cooler under $100, and if I need a good power supply to handle it, can someone recommend me one.

If this information helps, my room is always at 68f in temperature.

5Ghz isn't easy anyway, but you'll need a better cooler than a Hyper N520 to get there.

Think much larger and a lot more expensive.

The Phanteks is the better of the two, though.

As far as thermal paste goes, Arctic Silver 5 is still pretty much the standard and what a lot of us (including myself) use. If you want to go ridiculous for not much reason, you can go with IC Diamond (not a ton more expensive than AS5, really, just not needed).

Edit: That PSU is just fine, assuming that you only have one GPU.

Yeah the only gpu I have is a Geforce 670 gtx.
