What you have seems to be good quality selections--but does this really come to $800? I didn't do the math--but it seems more like a $600 build.

You should be able to put together an i5 or high end phenom ii build for $800 if you shop around for good deals...

Tom's $700 gaming pc was a little more graphics heavy than this--but your CPU heavier build should age better...

Definately good bang for the buck with all things considered. PSU may not be an 80+ certified PSU but it will get the job done and is of decent quality. And you also get a mobo that has USB 3.0 and Sata 3.0 for more upgradeability down the line.

If you want to lower the price down a bit more without sacrificing much in performance take a look at this, should save you an additional $20. Its a lower voltage than most ram in this price range, and you can probably get the timmings lower than advertised and keep the voltage in a very comfortable zone if you want.

I would recomend upping your HD to a single platter 500gb drive like the samsung you mentioned but seagate has one as well, and it costs $10 more and is significantly faster and holds 2x as much. The motherboard and CPU are good choices but if you look at the one I have linked above it is actually the same price and you get the newer AMD 955 BE with C3 stepping and a newer mobo that supports USB 3.0 and Sata 3.0. Oh and your links don't work.
