ESATA Connections

Hello,

I ran across a set of specs for my G ateway FX6800-01e

It listed the esata connections as Sata1.5? Jus an error or something else?

Cheers

More about esata connections
  1. It's the port speed, SATA 1.5 Gig.
  2. That was the first version of SATA. At that time, it was just called "SATA" - the common terms "SATA I" and "SATA II" only came when the second version was introduced. Be aware this is NOT likely a problem. There are very few mechanical (i.e., spinning disk) HDD's around - not even the most recent - with average data transfer rates that can actually out-do the 1.5 Gb/s interface speed.
  3. Many thanks
