It seems that most of my software that generates files decides for itself where to store the saved files. for example I would like to find a program that could be compiled to put all files of a certain category into a specific directory. WPd, TXT, DOC, ODT etc. would go to a dircetory named Documents. Others such JPG, TIF , GIF would go to a directory called Grafics.
I'm using both Windows 2000 And Windows XP

There is no software that will do that automatically; you must configure your software to use the folders you wish to use.
