Q8300

I am interested in the q8300 but what would be a good motherboard to run with it?my computer is sliand 64bit with 2 video cards

are you going to buy or do you already have a q8300? because if you don't have it already I would suggest going with a AMD processor, as it's cheaper and have a fine performance for price

I have an amd processoe in ther but its not working properly and my mother board is bad the computer tech said i needed an new cpu and mother board and he recomended the q8300 but didnt have a mother board.

not sure what you need to know but its a 64 bit computer the mother board is bad its a bio star nut sure what model but the cpu is freezing up so i need to replace both.I wanted to match them up so i dont have any conflicts like i did with the biostar board

i bought a Q8300 and returned it. Upgraded to the Q9650. MUCH happier.

Could you please explain why you did this bad change??????????????For that price you could've gotten a i7 920 or i7 930, a lot faster !!!!!!!!!!!! and wouldn't make much difference in the price as you got a new motherboard anyways....

my mobo is molded around the 775 architecture. how did i get a new mobo?
