Hi to all the community and apologies for my worse english.
What i want to ask regarding the best SILENT cooler for my AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Box 125W.
My actual PC configuration includes:

AMD Phenom II X4 955 125W
Asus M4A785TD-M EVO
Radeon HD5770 1GB GDDR5 Asus
CoolerMaster GX 650W
G.Skill 2x2GB PC3-12800 1600Mhz-787 4GBECO
SAMSUNG HD 3,5 SATAII 320GB SAMSUNG HD322GJ 7200rpm 16MB
Western Digital 1TB SATAII 64MB
CoolerMaster cm690 II Advanced Tower Black (I've removed the original cooler with the 3 x Enermax Everest underneath)
3 x Enermax Everest 120mm Blue Led

My final goal is to obtain a very silent PC because actually when I connect the Pc with my TV the noise is very disturbing.
Thank to all for your suggestions

G.

I use an Antec Kuhler H620 Liquid Cooling, and it is pretty much silent. Any "air" cooler will be pretty loud. There are lots of relatively cheap liquid options available at your local store or online. Make sure you get one fitted for AMD processors. The Antec one works for AMD and Intel.

I would stick with a liquid cooler for noise purposes. These coolers usually come with a fan as well, usually 120mm, but you can choose which fans to attach to where and choose to buy custom silent fans if you want.

Is your CPU cooler the stock one?

Thank for the suggestion jay_nar2012 my city store have it. So I can evaluate this solution as well

Don't forget guys his cpu has a "black box", he might need something a little stiffer. lol

AiaceT, it was fun but I gotta tell you it's not called "black box", it's called "Black Edition" meaning it has an unlocked multiplier.

By black box he meant that it came in a black box, it was a BE, black edition, and it has an unlocked reference clock multiplier.

For simply watching TV, your PhII955BE should be running at its lowest power state with reduced fan RPMs. A bit of tweaking may be in order to your smart fan profile and should reduce fan noise.

Also - I have not seen a Phenom Deneb that would not take a serious under-volt. This will help you reduce temps and fan noise, too.

Thanks. It was a joke, did you even read the post before yours?
