Just clean installed win7 on a corsair sata3 120gb force series ssd. I set my mobo to ahci before installing. After installing I looked in the device manager and Standard AHCI 1.0 serial ata controller was present. I also verified trim was enabled by typing cmd in the start menu search box. Then In the command line typing "fsutil behavior query DisableDeleteNotify". The result was a Zero meaning trim was enabled.

So today when I started my computer a message popped up saying a restart was required. After restarting the Standard AHCI 1.0 serial ata controller was gone. Trim mode is still enabled. I also went into the registry and zeros were present in the right spot. So I ran as ssd and it says im using AMD SATA Controller. So am I running in AHCI or not?
