Windows xp stop working thegames

Hai,am using windows xp sp2 in my pc.In earlier games are runned well.but nowadays i receive an error message that describe "the specified program is not working properly and also specify something middle in the program that may cause lose your program data" .so any one help me to resolve this problem.

Run MS Update, you'd want to get the system to SP3. What is this specified program you are talking about? The games are locking up? Only games? All of them?

You should also check for updated drivers for your computer, especially the video card.
