1333mem, Bios reads 2048mb/420mhz(ddr3 840)

It reads that for both 2gig sticks, is this normal? I think It has to do with my 300psu, is that it? I got this rig for 350 off craigslist
Amd Phenom x4 3.4ghz
2x2 gb 1333 ram
1gb ati graphics
Asrock m3a770de board

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

1- If the BIOS only reads 2GB that means that the other 2GB are dead.
2- The 840MHz are because the mobo set the RAM to auto and select the best configuration for that RAM. If u want get the 1333MHz you need change the specifications of the RAM manually in the BIOS.
