Problem with external hard disk of two partitions

Hello,
my name is Joao. I have external hard disk that has two partitions but one partition cannot read, I have very important stuff in it. How can I restore my stuff?

Odd that only one partition can't be read, if the disk was bad you should not be able to get to anything, could be that you have some bad sectors.

You can try to do a scandisk on the drive, select find and try to fix bad areas. Will take a while, do not interrupt it.

If that fails, try a file recovery software like Recuva (there is a free version of it).
