At my work I have a moderately aged windows XP machine. It works fine for what I need it to do, but on boot I am getting a warning of imminent hard drive failure. I have bought a replacement hard drive and am going to install it. What is the best way to clone my existing hard drive onto the new drive?

I have never had to replace an existing drive before. I have upgraded plenty, but usually take the opportunity to clean stuff out and just do a re-install of software as I discover I need or want it. This is a little bit different situation because I honestly need everything that is on this computer.

Oh, and free is only better if it works reliably. I would rather pay a little for a program that works with minimum fuss than use a free program that I have to fool around a lot with.
