Will ECC ram work in a Non-ECC Motherboard?
This is for an old socket 754 from MSI, DDR PC3200. Looking to use a 2GB Kit (1GBx2) because there's only two slots. I know, it's really old & the ram is hard to find on the cheap. It's more than enough for my wife. I only need the upgrade from 1GB so she can play Sims 3.
Thanks

No, the ECC RAM is designed for use on server boards. Please post your board model number. MSI has its 754 socket boards listed on its website, in the Archives section. We (or you) could download the specs or the manual to determine exactly which RAM modules would work.
