The wizard cannot find the necessary software

Trying to install a camera on my brothers PC, but not working> this is what happens:
1) pop-up comes up (found new hardware wizard)
2) "install the software automatically (recommended)"
3) "next"
4)" the hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software"
What should i do?

Try uninstalling the camera software and reinstalling. Also, be sure to read the manual. Some usb devices need the drivers installed prior to plugging them in for the first time.
