Building a new Business/Developer PC

I'm a Software Developer that spend more than 10 hours working on my PC. I need a fast PC that never fail or crash. I use to have many programs running at the same time, programs that use a lot of RAM memory(multiple instances of Visual Studio, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Remote Desktops, Internet browsers, etc)
I never use my computer for Games.
I use to watch online movies (Netflix, Hulu)


APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Next two weeks

BUDGET RANGE: The one is necessary for the right computer as my requirements

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Intensive Software Developer, Online Video (NetFlix, Hulu)

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Monitor (have two Full HD 1920x1080), Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe

Does your software favor nvidia drivers or will an ATI graphics card work for you?

I am thinking i7 920, x58 motherboard, 12GB DDR3-1600 RAM, 1TB Samsung F3 HDD. Probably an SSD for OS and applications.

I don't have any preference for the GPU. Could be either one.

Check out the "recommended builds by usage" thread and look at the enthusiast-extreme build. Increase the RAM from 6GB to 12GB and instead of the huge 5970 graphics card, drop back to a more reasonable 5850 or even 5770.
