I have two computers running win98 with a cable modem utilizing a netgear firewall/print server. My laptop accesses the net without a problem, my desktop however, can only access one page. Whenever I try to go to another page it won't load. I can download files, as long as they're on the 1st page. I've tried connecting directly to the modem, but the problem persists. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

I would just reinstall the OS.

Have you tried disabling the firewall and connecting to the internet? Maybe its a firewall configuration problem.

Other than that, it sounds like it could be an IE problem. Try re-installing the OS and updating IE, see if that fixes the problem.
