My system has Samsung CD Drive . The system is running Windows 7 operating system . Recently windows encountered a problem and was unable to boot . The only solution was to reinstall the operating system. So I decided to reinstall it. But it was found that the cd-rom was unable to boot from cd . I tried Windows xp installation disc and the system started booting from the cd only for a few minutes and after that a blue screen error appears showing the following message:

 

"Plug and Play detected an error most likely caused by a faulty driver."

I tried the same disc with another laptop and found no problems.The laptop booted from the cd without any errors.

 

Can any one please help me?

No Sata connection latch on SSD drive

I heard the sandisk ssd's don't have latches for some reason.
