This is going to be my first build and I had a question about using a type of ram that isn't supported by the mobo.

I recently purchased this board, the MSI 790x-g45 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130249

I also purchased this ram on accident, the G.Skill ripjaw series ddr3 1600 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277

Upon realizing my mistake, I ordered a type of ram that was supported by the mother board (DDR3 1200(OC)/1066/800). Now, the rest of my system is built and I'm waiting for another set of ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148150

I was wondering if the 1600 ram will work in that mother board, or if I should just wait for the supported ram to arrive?

Yeah Id Cancel The Other Order And Just Use The DDR3-1600, Think About This; You Can Run A Lower CAS Rating Witch In Most Cases Is Actually Better Than Higher Bandwidth, Thus The Reason I Use DDR2-800 CAS4 Over The CAS6 DDR2-1066 That I Could Have Used
