Hello. I have an intel dual core @ 2.49 ghz. It is on an acer motherboard so my OC options are zero. I am looking to get 3ghz out of it as I have done much research and have found that it can reach that with stock cooling easily. My question is what do I change the FSB to via doing the bsel mod. My motherboard

The motherboard is actually called a acer eg43m
I have plenty of power. The heatsink on the cpu has a huge fan connected with a funnel to the outside of the system. I have the ability and soldering skills and the pen to do so. Reason for wanting the overclock is to buy me some time before next upgrade and with some titles requiring a dual core @ 2.8 coming out I figure now is the time to do the mod. I hope I have stated enough information here. So to be clear Im looking for what I need to jump from. 800 to 1033 etc to hit the 3ghz mark or close enough to it. I have the cash to do an upgrade but after weeks of searching I have hit a standstill do to frustration so I may ask in the appropriate forum after if the mod doesnt work as it should. Thank you

If the fsb has nothing to do with the clock speed what would the voltage need to be at to get to that speed?
