Hi guys.

Lately I've been wanting to push my OC to 4.8ghz, but i seem to be stuck. Currently at 4.6ghz and running 1.385V in the Bios but somehow cpuz shows 1.368 idle and 1.32 under load. Kinda find that weird. Idle temps are 36C and max temps under load are 59-62

Is there any other way, any BIOS feature i can disable to achieve a stable overclock of 4.8 without going over 1.4v? i know o/c vary chip by chip, but 4.5 was easily achievable for me at 1.33 volts, and i just find it frustrating that i need a another half a volt for 200mhz.

It goes up at an accelerated rate, as you increase mhz the voltage required between each increase is greater than the previous. This is normal, not all 2500k's will hit 4.8 without going over 1.4v. That said, take a look at the guide and see if they have any ideas, possibly increasing pll to allow for a lower voltage?
