Hyper 212

Does the 212 fit in most cases, i used to buy closed loop water cooling like the h80 but lately i cant justify the price so im looking at getting a cheap but effective air cooler.

I would think that the Hyper 212 will fit into the mid- tower and full tower cases since I can't picture them making a low priced cpu heatsink that would not fit in a wide range of cases. I think when you get to the huge monsters like the Noctua-D14 that you would then start to run into peoblems.

As other said it will fit in mid tower case, but make sure double check if u buying/using generic/local brand case..

(some of them cut couple of cm for cost saving purpose)

It fits in my mid sized case - Antec Gaming One Illusion with room to spare. You should be fine, but post your case so we can double check

I have a CM Storm Enforcer with the Hyper 212 Evo and it fits fine as well. Should be able to fit most cases!
