my laptop (toshiba satellite l500-00w) has a mobile intel (r) 4 series express chipset family card... :pfff:
i usually play alot of games and most of the games that came out in 2009 my graphics card cant handle.
i m just wondering if it is possible to remove this graphics card and put install a better one in.

if it is possible to put a new graphics card in. anyone know a good laptop graphics card for under or around $100?
also is there a store such as future shop or bestbuy that can put the video card in for you? i really dont want to
take my laptop apart because i know i m going to screw something up :(

  1. Sorry mousemouse, this is pretty much not possible. Laptops aren't really built for "upgrades".

Take a look at this link, AMD/ATI has an external graphics solution for notebooks, i don't know if its available yet but looks like a possible solution. It was announced at CES just a few days ago. This is the 2nd reincarnation of it, the original version with the 3870 didn't hit the market hard enough but this looks much more promising.
