Phenom X4 9650 OC

My bro in laws older pc has a Phenom X4 9650 non BE @2.3GHz, and I tried to OC for him and simply got to 2.5ghz in like a min. i know how to do a phenom II cpu with voltages and stuff, but the voltages on ddr2 and the phenom r different and im not to sure what exactly to tweak. So how far can i get the cpu to and if any one knows how to or info on helping me oc it.

Also how well will getting to about 2.8 ish do for performance?

Phenom X4 9650 @2.3 (not stock cpu cooler but not sure what it is)
Asus M2N MX SE PLUS
EVGA 9800GT
2x2gb 800Mhz Gskill ddr2
Win XP 32bit
unknown 500watt psu, should be good tho.

don't expect too much out of it

just try to keep the RAM under 800MHz, and get a (cheap) aftermarket cooler, if you dont have one already

as long as you can keep the ram down you should be able to push past 2.5GHz
