HP/Compaq d530 CMT dead ?

Hello, The PC seems to begin to power up, with the sound of the fans and the HD spooling up. There are no lights on the keyboard (PS2) or the USB mouse. It gives 6 beeps in a regular interval of maybe 1 second apart.

What is the failure?

Sorry about the really late response. What I think may help would be to check the RAM. I put different RAM in the computer and it did the same thing (The power light even flashed red) and I slightly removed the RAM sticks and it did the same thing. Please make sure that your RAM sticks are placed in their slots properly and they are not defective.
