My computer keeps showing me different ram gig's. I have a Asus p6x58d-E with 6 gigs of G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) installed. I checked the Asus website to make sure it was compatible running on window's 7 64 bit. When i first got the computer it would only show 4 gigs of ram and then I checked another time and it showed 6 so I thought it was fine. Today it showed me 2 gigs of ram but after a restart it showed me 4 gigs of ram. Anybody have any ideas?

Go to msconfig, then to the 'Boot' tab, then click 'Advanced', and check the 'Maximum memory' box and type in 6144.
If that doesn't work, try checking the motherboard's CPU socket and check if there are any bent pins.
