Does anyone recomend the p7p55 3-pro and why?

I've been looking at the p7p55 e-pro for a while, but I'm afraid of the high pitch noise that people are reporting, and there are memory issues too with the 1600 cards. If you have this board or if you have used it, please let me know what your experience has been with this board. Is that high pitch noise really that bad and that common? Also, it's too bad the price went back up. Last week it was about $20.00 cheaper than it is today, on newegg and amazon.

There are always satisfied/dissatisfied users, it's overall a good motherboard.
I have a motherboard from the same family,its P7P55D EVO and haven't had any high-pitched noises with it

Actually, I read that it might actually only be on the "E" series that has the usb3, but not 100% sure because some people say it's for the whole family.
