ASUSTeK M4A78 Pro - COM-port does not work

Hello!
Help to understand, please, with a problem.
I have motherboard ASUSTeK M4A78 Pro.
It has a COM-port which is normally displayed in the Devices Manager. But any modem connected to this COM-port isn't defined and doesn't work.
Help, please!!!!

May be a stupid question, but do you have the chipset drivers loaded?
